All of these things are behaviour changes, and the most interesting behaviour changes happen at an unconscious level. The coaching I offer here is mostly at an unconscious level to help you make the changes that you want. We'll still talk through the science, and what's going on in your brain, if you're interested in the details.

In some cases, particularly with anxiety, I'll teach you specific techniques that you can do on your own time to solve problems. My goal is to give you all the tools you need, to make changes yourself.

What if you have a problem to address that is either embarrassing or otherwise confidential? One of the advantages of working at an unconscious level is that it's possible for me to work entirely context free. There's no need to share the specifics of the problem, or even the solution. Yes, I know how weird that sounds, but it works.

All appointments are done virtually over Zoom, and if you're in a North American timezone, we can find a time that works for you.

Want more confidence?

We'll boost that confidence with a combination of NLP and hypnosis, and will then lock it in place. These are long lasting approaches, that will put you in the right place, when you need it.

Do you have habits that you want to stop?

I work with behaviours at an unconscious level. If you have behaviours that you do, that you want to stop, or habits that you're struggling to form, we'll use both NLP and hypnosis to address that.

What is this "context free" work?

One of the interesting side effects of working at an unconscious level is that I don't ever have to know the details of the problem you wish to work on. I need to understand how you feel about things, and how you understand them at an abstract level, without necessarily knowing any of the details about them.

Frequently asked questions

  • What actually happens in a session?
    We start by talking about what you want to change and how you currently experience it. Then we work, using NLP and hypnosis techniques depending on what fits the situation. You're awake, aware, and in control throughout. You'll leave with specific techniques you can use on your own.
  • I'm a very analytical person. Can I even be hypnotized?
    Analytical people are often the best subjects, not the worst. The ability to focus and follow a logical process is an asset. Stage hypnosis has created the impression that you need to be suggestible or gullible; you don't. These techniques work with your brain's natural processes, not against your rational mind.
  • Do I need to share personal or embarrassing details?
    No. I can work entirely context-free: you don't need to share the specifics of the problem or even the solution. If you want to explain, that's fine. But it's never required.
  • Can this work over Zoom?
    Yes. The techniques are just as effective remotely. The session is interactive, not passive, so the medium matters less than you might expect.
  • How many sessions does it typically take?
    Some things shift in a single session. Others benefit from two or three. I don't sell packages in advance; we assess after each session whether another makes sense.
  • What if it doesn't work for me?
    The free consultation exists partly for this reason: to assess fit before you spend anything. If after a paid session something isn't landing, I'd rather have a direct conversation than have you leave dissatisfied.
  • Is this therapy or a medical service?
    No. I'm not a medical professional and I don't diagnose or prescribe. I work with behaviour: specifically how you respond to situations and what you do as a result. Even problems that don't seem behavioural at first, like anxiety, have a behavioural component that can be addressed directly. If you're currently working with a therapist or medical professional, continue that work; coaching and professional care can complement each other.
  • I'm not ready to book yet. What can I do in the meantime?
    I post free videos on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram covering anxiety, avoidance, and the neuroscience behind why patterns are hard to break. Start there and come back when it feels right.
